“PTSD, the spiciest meatball.”

This week’s guest is a dear friend of mine. We have been best friends since we were 16 and have really gotten to watch each other grow up. We both come from similar backgrounds and have struggled through most of our 20’s battling with mental health and then fighting for recovery. When I first told him about this podcast I was creating and how I knew he had to be my first guest he responded with “let’s do it babydoll!” Having been through close to 100 surgeries for kidney stones throughout his life and living through a few surgeries that were almost fatal, my guest walks us through his diagnosis of CPTSD and trauma induced OCD, how therapy guided him to a place of recovery, what it’s like being a chef or chefery as I so lovingly call it, and how laughter really is the best medicine. Stick around to find out why my guest JD Felt agrees that hey… maybe therapy woulda been cheaper.
